Welcome to Bare Bones

At Bare Bones Custom Paint & Speed Shop, LLC (aka "Bare Bones Kustoms"), we'll restore your classic/vintage vehicle to its former glory or customize it to your desires. We have been building and restoring classics and rods for nearly 30 years. We respect every car in our shop, whether it travels the auto show circuit or is your daily driver.

We specialize in classic/vintage vehicles, however we also do custom paint work & collision repair on newer vehicles.

Getting Caddy Ready for Dallas Autorama

We're redoing the bodywork & paint on the SEMA Caddy, (dubbed "Blue Streak").

It's looking good, but now it's crunch time for us! We have to complete the redo by the middle of next week, as the Dallas Autorama is ♥ Valentine's ♥ weekend, but YES the car WILL be in the show!!!!!

We're working hard on our customer's vehicles during the day & the Caddy at night AND we've been pulling some really late nights in order to get it all done in time.

Speaking of which, any volunteers that want to come to the shop to help put 'er back together this next week are more than welcome & appreciated!!!

Well, that's the latest news. Keep checking back & checking our calendar on our website as we will be posting all the shows the Caddy will be at as each one is confirmed. We're going to be hitting the show circuit hard this year!!

The big reveal follow up

Thank you all who showed up for the reveal of the "Fire Bike" & for supporting the Houston Fire Department. We had an awesome time, met some great people, & saw some cool custom bikes & cars. We look forward to the next one.

The Big Reveal ;-)

We here at Bare Bones have been working hard with MANY various projects going on all at once. One of which is a custom bike that we painted as a memorial tribute to fallen heroes of the Houston Fire Department, past & present. Come join us for the BIG REVEAL!!! (Even the owner of the bike has not, and will not, see it until we reveal it to the public!)

Thanks all for attending!!

We here at Bare Bones Custom Paint & Speed Shop would like to thank everyone who attended our GRAND OPENING/OPEN HOUSE party at the shop on Saturday, August 3rd. We had a great time hanging out with our friends (new & old).

The band “Hotrod Hillbillies” rocked the show and the pinup contest was a success thanks to Al E. Cat & all of the beautiful models. DJ Twinkletoes did an awesome job spinning those wheels of steel.

The vendors were great and we believe everyone had a fun time.

AGAIN, THANK YOU ALL FOR ATTENDING!!!!! HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT TIME! (Possibly in December.)
